Puerto Montt, Lake District, Chile
July 25, 2013 – We woke up this morning and it was raining…we have been soooo lucky with the weather on our trip to Chile. If it had been raining during our trip we would not have been able to see the beautiful rolling hills in the wine country, the lovely sunsets in Vina del Mar, the amazing lakes, rivers and volcanos in the Lakes District, the beautiful Andes Range, and the coastal ares and islands in Chiloe.
We would love to visit Chile again….next time though would be a different type of visit. We would focus on the Lakes District and Chiloe. We came to Chile to see if this might be a good place to spend much of our time during our retirement years….to truly know if that is what we want will require some more research on our part…and an ability to communicate with the people in the country. Wayne and I both came to the conclusion that it still is something that interests us and warrants further investigation…..until then I will continue on in my Rosetta Stone and get Wayne on board with the espanol…..with all of that free time he has ….
